Thanks! Ah, the water… More difficult than I’d hoped. I clamped a spare plastic base against each of the two parts up to the level of the fountain wall, then filled them with Vallejo Still Water using a pipette. I think the theory was good but Still Water shrinks considerably, and has huge surface tension. The shrinkage meant it took 4 layers to fill the fountain and the tension meant it was impossible to half fill it has I’d wanted, as the water ‘climbed up’ the walls and was nowhere near level. It turned out ok though, and I’m not aware of any better easy-use product. In future I’ll try a medical syringe instead of a pipette, as this might allow me to be more accurate.
