The Heavy AA platform is an immobile artillery gun that can target enemy aircraft at considerable range. It can also be used to destroy infantry and armour.

Earthshaker Platform
The Imperial Guard Earthshaker Platform is a stationary artillery gun with an extremely long range. It lobs shells in a high arc, and does not need line of sight to its target.
Thudd Gun
Thudd Guns (aka Light Artillery) are quad barrelled artillery weapons that are useful for pounding enemy positions from behind cover.
Snipers
Imperial Guard Snipers are excellent for taking out enemy targets of high importance. They can also provide a useful screen to protect against assaults on valuable friendly units.
Infantry
Imperial Guard infantry and their cousins across other Imperial factions are cheap and numerous. Their combined small arms fire makes them excellent in a firefight, but they should not attempt to fight in close combat.
Rough Riders
Rough Riders charge the enemy and skewer them with Power Lances before they have a chance to retaliate. They make decent flanking units and useful scouts.
Thunderbolt Fighter
The Thunderbolt Fighter is excellent insurance against enemy air attack. They are cheap, resilient, and carry decent firepower. Once enemy anti-aircraft capability has been neutralised, they can be used to great effect in clearing up fleeing formations.
Marauder Bomber
The Marauder Bomber is a heavily armed offensive unit capable of hitting any position on the board. They are excellent for mopping up fleeing formations, and can withstand a reasonable amount of incomming anti-air fire.
Warhound Titan
Warhound Titans are formidable fighting machines, often deployed in pairs to increase their overall resilience. They are vulnerable to specialised enemy units, but carry considerable speed and firepower.
Reaver Titan
A Reaver Titan is a powerful weapons platform, mounting up to three Titan class weapons. Though it’s heavily armoured and benefits from Void Shields it’s far from indestructable, making the cheaper Warhound Titans an attractive alternative.
