The Dreadnought Drop Pod is a dedicated orbital insertion vehicle that transports a single Dreadnought directly into the thick of battle from high orbit. It utilizes the Deep Strike rule to deploy its heavy payload, delivering a powerful close-range threat to the enemy in an unexpected location. Dreadnought Drop Pods can also be outfited with heavy shield generators and these are known as Palisade Drop Pods.
