Faction: Tau

Kroot Hounds add rare close combat ability to the Tau army. Their razor sharp fangs are extremely effective at dealing with softer targets, though with little but their speed to protect them, they may not survive an engagement.

Gun Drones add extra firepower to Tau formations, and their Twin Pulse Carbines are effective at destroying enemy infantry.

Ethereals are the spiritual leaders of the Tau. An Ethereal that is present on the battlefield inspires the warriors around him to fight even harder for the greater good.

Tau Fire Warriors are excellent marksmen, and their massed Pulse Rifles and Pulse Carbines will cause serious damage to enemy infantry at range. They lack any decent close combat ability, so be careful not to let anyone get close.

Crisis Battlesuits are some of the most potent weapons in the Tau arsenal. Missile Pods, Twin Plasma Rifles and Twin Fusion Blasters provide substantial ranged punch that more than makes up for their relative lack of close combat ability.
