Gun Drones add extra firepower to Tau formations, and their Twin Pulse Carbines are effective at destroying enemy infantry.
Interests: Board Wargames / Hobbyists
Fire Warriors
Tau Fire Warriors are excellent marksmen, and their massed Pulse Rifles and Pulse Carbines will cause serious damage to enemy infantry at range. They lack any decent close combat ability, so be careful not to let anyone get close.
Fighta Bommer
Fighter Bommers can be deployed in significant number. Large squadrons are able to sustain heavy losses and still make it through to their target.
Orkeosaurus
An Orkeosaurus is a huge beast with massive tusks and a thick hide that will shrug off most incoming fire with ease. Feral Orks further increase its toughness by adding armour plating, and attach numerous guns to create a fearsome fighting platform.
Gunfortress
The Gunfortress is a War Engine with adequate firepower and transport capacity. It can add some welcome resilience at a reasonable cost to an Ork mob.
Warbuggy
The Warbuggy is a fast, lightly armoured vehicle that has good all-round capability. It is most effective when used in large number, where they can sustain a fairly high rate of attrition and still make it into close quarters combat.
Killa Kan
The Killa Kan is a smaller version of the Ork Dreadnought. It is very effective in close combat, and has an adequate ranged attack.
Big Gunz
The Ork Big Gun is a cheap unit usually deployed in significant number. It has reasonable anti-vehicle and anti-infantry capability, with decent range.
Warbikes
The Ork Warbike is a fast, close combate orientated unit. It is best used in large number, where a formation of Warbikes can survive fairly high attrition rates on the approach.
Warbike Outriders
Ork Warbike Outriders are fast moving units with scouting abilities. Their Twin Sawn-off Big Shootas have some short ranged use, but Outriders are better suited to getting up close and personal with their enemies.
