Encounter Phase One is an exciting new miniatures skirmish game that offers a unique and fast-paced gaming experience. With its small scale, it can be played comfortably on a coffee table while providing access to powerful tanks and other mechanised units. Though formidable, these units must be protected from anti-tank infantry, and melee weapons that can tear through the toughest armour. Heroes play a pivotal role in the outcome of the battle.

Your Supreme Commander and minor heroes are designed to withstand multiple hits, deliver devastating blows, and coordinate formations on the field. The hex-based system makes it easy to determine range and line of sight, keeping the game moving quickly and allowing players to focus on their strategy. In Encounter, each player has access to a range of Battlefield Tactics that can be tailored to deal with specific threats. Facing enemy heavy armour? Pack a magnetic mine to eliminate it. Are hoards of infantry closing on your position? Call in an off-table barrage and watch those bodies fly. This brief overview should give you an idea of what we’re dealing with, here.
